General Resources

The following are a collection of resources that are always worth checking out, for virtually any project. Check them out...

EBSCO is an online database that we subscribe to here at Shaftesbury that provides access to thousands of periodicals online. Unsure how to use it? Check out the EBSCO tutorial in the Library Resource Tutorials page.

Shaftesbury has a subscription to World Book Online, which is the online version of the encyclopedia. The information found here is very in-depth. World Book online is often a great place to start any search.

OPAC is a program that lets you find out what books are in Shaftesbury's library. If you're unsure of how to use it, check out the tutorial called "What's OPAC?" in the Library Resource Tutorials page.

To log on, just click the "Web OPAC" Icon on your desktop!
